Missouri Nutrient Management Plan Document Generators
 

  • Manure & Commercial Fertilizer Nutrient Management Plan Document Generator – University of Missouri has worked with NRCS and MoDNR to develop a nutrient management plan that meets their needs and the needs of farmers that use manure as a fertilizer source.  The  Manure & Commercial Fertilizer Nutrient Management Plan (NMP) document generator can be loaded into Purdue’s Manure Management Planner (MMP).  Once correctly installed the document generator will automatically generate much of the Missouri Nutrient Management Plan. Microsoft Word 2002 or better required.

  • The Manure & Commercial Fertilizer NMP document that is generated has two parts:

  1. Farmer plan including yearly field-by-field recommendations for manure and fertilizer management.

  2. Nutrient Management Plan verification including plan summary, farm inventory including manure volumes and farm maps.

  • Commercial Fertilizer Nutrient Management Plan Document Generator - University of Missouri and NRCS jointly developed the NMP that meets the needs of farmers that only use commercial fertilizer as a nutrient source.  The Commercial Fertilizer NMP (CFNMP) Document Generator can be loaded into Purdue’s Manure Management Planner (MMP).  Once correctly installed the document generator will automatically generate much of the Missouri Nutrient Management Plan. Microsoft Word 2002 or better required.

The CFNMP is included in the download of the NMP

  • The Commercial Fertilizer NMP document that is generated has two parts:

  1. Farmer plan including yearly field-by-field recommendations for manure and fertilizer management.

  2. Nutrient Management Plan verification including plan summary, farm inventory and farm maps.

For both the Manure & Commercial Fertilizer NMP and Commercial Fertilizer NMP, the planner will need to add some text particularly in the plan summary section that outlines the planning strategy.  There are also places where the planner will need to pick from a list of choices to complete some tables created by the document generator.
