Missouri CAFO Nutrient Management Technical Standard: Defines the way permitted operations must manage nutrients. Terms apply to any new permits issued after Feb. 2009. Operations under the current general permit will need to meet this standard after the current general permit expires Feb. 23, 2011.


What You Need to Know About Renewing Your Permit in 2010.: The Missouri General Permit expires on Feb 23. 2011. All operations permitted under the General Permit must apply to renew their permit by September 23, 2010. This web page will provide information to help farmers understand what they need to do to renew their permit.

Concentrated Animal Feeding Operations Best Management Practices: Links to some current regulatory language and operating permits for Missouri concentrated animal feeding operations. This document has been superceded by the Missouri CAFO Nutrient Management Technical Standard.


Missouri Regulations: Missouri regulations affecting CAFOs are in a multiple chapters of the Missouri Code of State Regulation (CSR). CAFO storage design regulations were consolidated and updated in section 10 CSR 20-8.300 in 2012.
